Many scholarships that you will apply for in your grade 12 year will require a listing of the number of hours you have spent volunteering and giving back to your community so keep track! Volunteering is very beneficial and important to consider when beginning your grade nine year here at Hunting HIlls.
Current Volunteer Opportunites:
Click on the FAQ’s on the right side bar. If you feel you can meet the requirements/commitment to volunteer with Alberta Health Services, go back to the Volunteer Resources section of the AHS external website and click on Central Zone. Scroll down this page to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre information and click on Apply online link. Review the list of Volunteer Interests and if any are of interest to you, click on the “Fill in an application” under the I would like to volunteer bar. Follow the instructions under the “I am new to myVolunteerPage.com” to complete and submit a volunteer application online.
If your application is received successfully, you will receive an automatic email back indicating that your application is in our waitlist. If/when a suitable position is avialable for you, a Volunteer Resources Coordinator will contact you to further discuss.
